Hemlock Gorge Reservation is a small park located in the Newton, MA and Needham, MA. It’s a gorgeous patch of wilderness in Boston suburbs, ideal for quick outings like afternoon walk, a quick lunch, or a weekend picnic. One of the most amusing parts of this park is an Echo Bridge. The bridge arch, which is accessible by foot, indeed echoes loudly, so I would definitely recommend trying it out. While there were no tables and benches for your weekend munches, there are stone tables on which you may sit while snacking and taking in the nature around you. To go over the echo bridge, you’d need to climb some stairs, and since the park itself is lacking paved paths, it is not accessible for people with mobility issues or disabilities. If visiting during the rainy weather, take care as trails get somewhat slippery. I will likely be visiting this park again. I’ve posted 25 unedited photos on Flickr.
